As excitement builds, the 7th Joma Corsa dei Castelli, organized by Promorun, prepares to light up the streets of Trieste. This year, the event goes beyond competition, embracing sustainability and internationality. Here’s everything you need to know about this year’s event.
Sustainability and Innovation: The Recycled Wood Finisher Medal
With the support of the City of Trieste and the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region, the event brings sustainability to center stage. The finisher medal is made of recycled wood, with FSC and PEFC® certifications. This symbol of triumph also becomes a banner of environmental responsibility. It is not just a medal, but a manifesto for respect for the environment. Produced by the renowned IFeelWood line, the wood used comes from fallen trees or controlled plantations. In addition, the colors used for printing are carbon neutral, further confirmation of the focus on protecting the planet.
