Corsa dei Castelli Regulations Family Run 8K 2023
Non-competitive road race 8km October 15, 2023
The Corsa dei Castelli is also a fun Family Run open to everyone to share a day of sports with family and friends.
A unique route that Trieste offers participants. Departure is from the square in front of the fascinating Miramare Castle, a city monument rich in history and art. The route then continues along the waterfront, with a fantastic panorama providing a scenic backdrop for the athletes, while the finish is scheduled, 8 km from the start, in Piazza dell’Unità d’Italia.
Running, fun, breathtaking views, history and art, all this is the Corsa dei Castelli Family Run.

Time: Sunday, October 15, 10:00 am at the tail end of the non-competitive TEN.

Online enrollment on ENTERNOW portal with increasing quotas:

- from 1/9/2023 to 11/10/2023 € 18.00
For children/youth up to 18 years of age, registration is free of charge.
Promo 2 adults and one Under 16
Two adults accompanying a child under 16 will pay one registration fee and will be entitled to three bibs. The under 16 will be entitled to the event’s technical T-shirt; the two adults can purchase it for €5 while supplies last.
For groups with at least 10 people, registration will cost 10.00 euros per person. Registration must be done by a group leader by filling out the form on the TDS website.
Online registration will be closed on October 11, 2023 at 11:59 pm.
NOT PRE-ENROLLED
Only in case of bib availability and at the total discretion of the Organizing Committee, it will be possible, exceptionally, to register at the Corsa dei Castelli Family Run Registration Center:
- October 4 to 10 at a fee of €18.00 in Via Luigi Einaudi, 2 Trieste from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- October 11 at a fee of €18.00 in Piazza Unità d’Italia, Trieste from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- October 12 to 14 at a fee of €20.00 in Piazza Unità d’Italia, Trieste from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- October 15 at a fee of €20.00 in the departure area at the Miramare Castle from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

BIB AND RACE PACKET PICKUP
At the Corsa dei Castelli registration center:
- Oct. 4 to Oct. 10 at Via Luigi Enauidi, 2 Trieste from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m;
- Oct. 11 to Oct. 14 in Piazza Unità d’Italia, Trieste from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m;
- October 15 in the starting area at Miramare Castle from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
In case of collection by proxy, the delegating party must complete, sign and deliver to the delegate the
proxy form, the privacy form, a copy of the registration confirmation letter, and a copy of his or her ID.
Race pack and bib pickup on Sunday, October 15 is reserved for athletes who are not residents of the province of Trieste.
LIMIT TIME
The time limit to finish the 10 km race is set at 2 hours, beyond this time the Organizing Committee will no longer guaranteè control and assistance on the course.
REFRESHMENT PLACES
A refreshment station will be set up at km 5 and one in the finish area at Piazza Unità d’Italia
SHUTTLE SERVICE
A shuttle service will be provided at the Central Train Station to the departure area (Miramare Castle), Saba Silos parking lot side, from 7:30 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.. It is recommended to go to the shuttle service by observing the indicated times.
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
Race open to all, no sports medical certificate required.
RIGHT OF IMAGE
By registering for the Castelli Family Run, the athlete authorizes the organization to acquire free of charge the right, together with its partners, to use the still or moving images on which he or she may appear, taken during his or her participation in the event, on all visual media as well as on promotional and/or advertising materials.

FINAL WARNINGS
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify these regulations at any time for reasons it deems appropriate for the better organization of the race, after giving notice and obtaining approval from FIDAL.
For all matters not provided for in these regulations, the FIDAL and G.G.G. technical statutory regulations apply. Any changes to services, locations and times will be appropriately communicated to registered athletes or will be posted on the website www.promorun.it In addition, documentation containing essential information for taking part in the race will be delivered by the organization along with the bib.
CANCELLATION OF COMPETITIONS – NON-PERFORMANCE
Should the race be cancelled, moved to another date and/or, in any case, not held due to causes not dependent on and/or not referable to the will of the organization, including the revocation of the authorization to hold the race by the competent Public Bodies, atmospheric events, earthquakes, epidemics and any other event that may affect the safety of the participants, the participant shall have no claim against the organizing company by way of reimbursement.
Entries received will be kept valid for the following year or for another Promorun event. The transfer will be completely free of charge.
