Red in the Evening, Friday, May 17, the Family Run that enchants at sunset

TRIESTE – No commitments for May 17, when, at 7 p.m., Trieste will witness a unique sunset during the Rosso di Sera, a recreational-sports event organized by ASD Promorun with the support of Rosso, a maintenance and construction specialist currently involved in the restoration of the Old Port.

THE EVENT – Mid-spring atmospheres and the charm of the Old Port as the sun goes down will make for a perfect 3-kilometer walk to be done with family or friends, including pets, along a fully lit and festively transformed track with recreational activities for children and adults. Promorun has created an even more memorable experience with a Joma technical T-shirt and medal that participants will receive in their race kit. And at the end of the walk, a collective refreshment to extend the festivities and enjoy the last rays of sunshine in company.

CHARITY PROGRAM – A charitable purpose is added to an already extraordinary event that provides an opportunity to enjoy quality family time, wellness and physical activity. A portion of the proceeds will go to IRCCS Burlo Garofolo as part of the Burlo Garofolo Foundation to support scientific research, improve care, purchase new equipment, adopt cutting-edge technology, and promote health education initiatives for children, adolescents, and women’s wellness.

“We are renewing a partnership that we cherish,” said Burlo Garofolo Foundation President Gabriele Cont, “with an event that, in its essence, is an expression of our commitment: to support IRCCS Burlo Garofolo with activities that contribute to raising quality, to stay close to children and their families by involving them directly. The Foundation will be at the forefront and will ‘run’, in its own way, to achieve outstanding results.”

REGISTRATION – Registration is open online at our website until 11:59 p.m. May 14. It will also be possible to register on May 16 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on May 17 at the Riviera Room Starhotels Savoia, Excelsior Palace (Riva del Mandracchio 4 Trieste, entrance Via Boccardi) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Magazzino 27 in Porto Vecchio.
